Eye Care

Children’s’ Eyecare

We are passionate about childrens eyecare.

Pre-school screening shows what your child can see, not how much effort they are making to see it. Children can be examined from a very young age and certainly should be if there is any family history of eye problems. We have a great choice of kids frames in all our branches too – many of which are free with an NHS Voucher.

Community Ophthalmology

Working closely with the local Community NHS Trust we are fully accredited to offer the full range of Community Ophthalmology services. These include:

    • Diabetic Retinopathy screening
    • Glaucoma Referral refinement
    • Cataract assessment/referral
    • Flashes & Floaters assessment
    • Red Eye assessment
    • Low Vision aids

Contact Lenses

We offer a full contact lens service including a direct debit scheme and home delivery. We will also spend time with patients who have had previously had problems with contact lenses:

Have you previously tried to wear contact lenses but been unable to insert/move them?

We will give you the time and support you need to become confident enough to succeed.

Have you been told  you are unsuitable for lenses?

We can supply lenses to suit any type of prescription:

  • Soft lenses for daily, weekly or monthly replacement
  • Toric soft lenses for astigmatism, either as frequent replacement or durable
  • Gas permeable lenses
  • Bifocal lenses
  • Fashion coloured lenses

Have you stopped wear due to dry eye?

We can advise you on the steps you can take to get back to lens wear and the type of lens that will suit you. We will discuss and explain all the pro’s and con’s with contact lens wear.

Call us today and make an appointment for a contact lens consultation.
